MILLVILLE ? Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Leon Russell will headline this year?s Southern Shore Music Festival at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds on June 18.
Russell, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame last month, recently released a collaboration with Elton John and a greatest hits record.
The Oklahoma native, who was born in 1941, has been playing music for more than 50 years. He will take the stage at the fairgrounds at 6:30 p.m. for the fifth annual music festival.
Also performing are Deer Tick, Jamioe?s Jassssz Band, Justin Townes Earle, Sharon Little, Joel Plaskett and Patty Blee. Tickets are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/140941 or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
The festival will take place on Carmel Green at the fairgrounds in Millville.
