Known for her curvy turn as 'Mad Men's' Joan Holloway Harris, the fiery bombshell, who started her career as a model in Playboy, is right back in the saddle with her most recent gig.
In the new advertising campaign, Hendricks wears the pendants, hair accessories and other pieces with Westwood's hourglass-figure-flattering frocks. She, of the perfect dcolletage, provides a wonderful canvas for the show-stopping bling.
Hendricks is a longtime fan of the Godmother of Punk. "She is my favorite designer," she told the London Mail on Sunday. "As a young girl I would cut out pictures of her dresses from magazines, although I was never able to afford them. Even now I only have one in my closet."
She added, "The lovely thing now is that I can borrow them and they fit so well, unlike some designer clothes."
The collection is being touted as eco-friendly, because palladium, a white metal in the platinum family, is derived from nature. Westwood chose to exploit the relationship to nature by featuring such items as acorns, leaves and oak trees in her design.
"Get a Life is about how we stop climate change and therefore preserve life for the next generation while at that same time get a better life," Westwood said in a release.
"My focus at the moment is what one person can do. Stop climate change. Save the planet. The acorn is symbolic of the rainforest, its importance and how it is our first duty to save it."
The jewelry collection is available in Vivienne Westwood boutiques in London and Los Angeles.
