It was only 10 days ago that 'Saturday Night Live' head writer Seth Myers was cracking Osama Bin Laden jokes at the White House Correspondents Dinner, as the most wanted man in the world was killed by American Special Forces.

On Monday night in New York City at the Robin Hood Foundation's Annual Gala, Meyers proved there is no mourning period when it comes to joking about Osama Bin Laden's death.

"Like all Americans I am so happy the Osama Bin Laden era is over," Meyers told the 4,000 strong crowd of some of New York's wealthiest individuals gathered for the benefit and Lady Gaga concert at the Javits Center. "At first when I heard he was living in a mansion I was jealous and then I saw a pic of the mansion. The real estate agents in Pakistan must have had balls to call that a mansion."

Meyers continued on about how he felt a sense of vindication when the government released videos of Osama watching himself on television.

"I am loving the details of all this because Osama wasn't living the good life," Meyers joked. "If you see the new footage of him watching TV, he looks like every roommate I had before I was 25. He's like a washed up movie star. He's Norma Desmond in 'Sunset Boulevard.'"
